Community Time Off (CTO) allows Texas Health employees to serve and volunteer with outside organizations, schools and nonprofits in our local service areas. And our employees have really been busy supporting our communities. ? Texas Health Alliance had a tee-rrific time supporting Metroport Chamber at their annual golf tournament. ? Texas Health Plano was a proud sponsor of the Plano International Festival, with several care team members doing their part to improve the health of our community. In addition to providing flu shots and health information at the Wellness Fair, the Diversity Action Team was on site with its popular "Spin the Wheel - the International Version" game. ? Texas Health Breeze team members volunteered at the North Texas Food Bank! They helped package over 11,000 meals for North Texans facing hunger. ? Staff from Texas Health Cleburne enjoyed taking education and care beyond the hospital walls this fall at a variety of community events! From offering free flu shots, providing informational resources on the Texas Health Cleburne Wound Care Clinic, Women's Center, Faith Community Nursing, and even volunteer opportunities within Texas Health Cleburne. Some of our Respiratory Department staff also had a tremendous time providing child-friendly education on hand hygiene with a fun activity!
