Texas Forensic Nurse Examiners: Forensic Center of Excellence (TXFNE): Forensic Center of Excellence

Texas Forensic Nurse Examiner’s is a mobile, community-based forensic nursing program that works closely with community partners, health care and social services to address the service gaps victims have encountered for many years. Our forensic nurses specialize in trauma care for victims of violence and are highly trained by experts in the field. We partner with hospitals and clinics by providing forensic nurses when needed. This is a significant support for hospitals and the patient’s we serve because timely exams, completed by specially trained nurses helps victims get the care they need during a crisis. This pioneering approach dramatically improves the care for victims of violence in our community.
