Exciting data from the recently published Statewide Economic Development Strategic Plan from the Texas Economic Development & Tourism Office. Employee ownership could help protect the 207,000 Texas businesses whose owners are age 55+ because 1 out of 3 will have a hard time finding a buyer. When businesses leave or shutter, entire communities can be affected.
