It's always a good day when two teams come to the Texans on Mission headquarters to volunteer their time! After touring the headquarters, Lake Shore Baptist Church spent the morning making first step kits, or hygiene kits for those in need, and iGo Global stocked and packed supplies and made evangelism bracelets. It was such a pleasure to have you both. Thank you for all you do! #volunteer #ministry #giveback #texansonmission

  • Aisha Nandudu is a 25-year-old widowed mother of four who tragically lost her husband and her first child in the devastating landslide in Uganda. She also lost her in-laws along with eight of their grand children. She is one of many who were displaced and left without food, clean water and shelter. After the landslide, Texans on Mission is mobilizing its first ever all-African disaster relief team to help those in need like Aisha. People you have served and discipled through your Water Impact ministry are feeding displaced families, seeking to drill a water well and starting regular Bible studies in the refugee camp. "With your support, our hope is being restored, and we are incredibly grateful. May God bless you abundantly for the assistance you provide during our time of need," said Aisha. Please continue to pray for Uganda and for the people impacted by the landslide. Thanks to your generosity, TXM is providing help, hope and healing where it's needed most. • Texans on Mission and St. Andrew's Methodist Church came together in Tampa, Florida, to help families recover after Hurricane Milton. While many of us had the ability to move on with our lives after the hurricane, families struggled to plan and carry out next steps. One family in particular, the Smiths, were affected by the hurricane so severely that they were displaced in Tampa for five months. They became TXM's highest priority, and thanks to Richard Pruitt and his team of 12 volunteers from St. Andrew's, next steps are now underway. "The attitude and heart to serve allowed St. Andrew's to showcase their dedication," said rebuild coordinator Rafael Munoz. "They not only traveled from the Dallas metroplex, but also carried out a home project an hour from our Rebuild lodging due to the severity of the need." TXM rebuild will develop additional opportunities for St. Andrews to bring their teams and continue their commitment to serve in North Carolina this May. We are grateful for the opportunity to live on mission and provide hope to families as we help them move forward after disaster. #rebuild #florida #volunteer #giveback #texansonmission

  • This past weekend, the Texans on Mission Church Builders received an award for helping change lives through a Majesty Outdoors project called The Garden Commission, a place where youth will have the opportunity to learn and grow in Christ's name. Thank you, Majesty Outdoors, for honoring the Church Builders and for working to serve others so earnestly. Church Builders, thank you for dedicating your time to renovating a space like this. You all have been blessed with an amazing skillset, and we are so grateful to witness you blessing others in return. #builders #volunteer #giveback #majestyoutdoors #texansonmission

  • The Texans on Mission Rolling Timbers Chainsaw Team is on a roll this week! Starting with a community outreach project in Arlington, Texas, 15 members gathered to remove a dead tree above a resident’s home. The team also responded to residents affected by high winds and severe thunderstorms in Weatherford, Texas, early Tuesday morning. This team is so active in the community and never misses a chance to respond after disaster. We love seeing them work! Thank you, Rolling Timbers, for all you do for the kingdom. #volunteer #giveback #disasterrelief #ministry #texansonmission

  • This week, Texans on Mission volunteers and Mansfield Fellowship of Christian Athletes showed their appreciation for teachers in Mansfield, Texas. A week-long effort led to TXM volunteers cooking and delivering more than 2,000 fajita meals to be served by the FCA across several Mansfield schools. “Teachers sometimes are unappreciated,” said TXM feeding volunteer Genia Macon. “As a retired teacher myself, I know how wonderful it is when somebody takes a little special care to give you something extra because we love the Lord, we serve the Lord, and we serve them.” There’s something truly special about loving on those who do so much for our youth. Teachers, we thank you for serving the community, and we are praying for your protection, health and strength. #FCA #Volunteer #ministry #teacherappreciationweek #texansonmission #texas

  • Another successful board meeting in the books for Texans on Mission this weekend! After a jam-packed year in 2024, we discussed just how much TXM volunteers, donors and staff accomplished together, and what is to come in the future. It was such a blessing to celebrate how TXM volunteers provide help, hope and healing when and wherever we can. “Nothing gives me more comfort, more peace, that says we’re worth something than what we do,” said TXM Builders coordinator, Wayne Pritchard. We want to thank best-selling author Tod Bolsinger for joining us and for speaking about how everyone has a superhero quality to impact the kingdom. Thank you for all you do! To every donor, volunteer and staff member who makes kingdom work like this possible, thank you. This ministry would not be possible without you.
