The sale of Tesco Bank’s banking operations to Barclays UK has today been confirmed, marking the start of a long-term strategic partnership between Tesco and Barclays to offer customers Tesco Bank branded-banking products and services. The acquisition includes credit cards, loans, and savings. ? The partnership will be for an initial period of 10 years and represents a significant milestone for Tesco Bank, who have been helping customers to manage their money for more than 25 years. ? Richard Henderson, Head of Tesco Bank said: “It’s taken a lot of hard work to get us here today so I’m grateful to all our colleagues for their efforts during an incredibly busy time.
