Ossberger's Visit for Generator Commissioning ??????????? Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting our valued partner OSSBERGER GmbH + Co. KG at TES VSETIN for the factory acceptance test of the first of two synchronous generators destined for a new hydropower plant at the River Picachos, Mexico. These high-performance generators share these specifications: ? Output: 3560 kVA ? Voltage: 4160 V ? Speed: 900 RPM As part of this collaborative project: ?? OSSBERGER GmbH + Co. KG supplied a crossflow turbine, perfectly suited for this medium-scale hydropower plant. ?? Siemens Energy is main contractor of the power generation and automation scope of the project The event marked a significant milestone in this project. Training on our new machine is underway this week! ???? We have expanded our machine park with the MTE RT3000-T bed-type milling machine with a carousel table, and this week our team is undergoing training to fully utilize its potential. ? Carousel table diameter: 1600 mm ? Maximum table speed: 400 RPM ? Table load capacity up to 15 tons ? TES VSETIN Generator in Greece ?? ???? A synchronous generator, with an output of 259 kVA and running at 750 RPM, was delivered to Mr. Sifakis in Greece. With over 20 years of experience operating Czech-made turbines from Hydrohrom, Mr. Sifakis is now focused on modernizing hydroelectric plants by replacing older asynchronous generators with synchronous models. He is also involved in constructing new power plants, further expanding the role of hydroelectric power in Greece. TURBINE RUNNER + GENERATOR: First Meeting! Soon, they’ll team up at Froytlandsfoss! ??? ? We have to admit, we don’t often see a turbine runner in our production hall – so when it arrived, we couldn’t resist taking photos of it together with our synchronous generator from every angle. ???? Hopefully, these photos will delight all the hydropower enthusiasts out there! ? This beauty is heading to Fr?ytlandsfoss, where it will become part of a new hydropower plant. The plant, owned by ? Energi, will further strengthen the local renewable energy network. Once it is commissioned in 2025, it will be capable of producing clean, renewable energy for approximately 600 households annually. ?? We might even visit it in action one day! ?? ? A special thanks to the entire HM Energi AS team for their trust and excellent collaboration.
