Having lived through the difficult decision to place his father in a nursing home, David is uniquely qualified to understand the issues families face when their loved ones are seriously injured or killed by the nursing home industry. He is a nationally recognized lawyer who has been helping those who have been abused and neglected by the nursing home industry for over twenty years. David is licensed in five states and has spent most of his career as the lead attorney on nursing home abuse and neglect cases all over the United States, but now focuses his practice in Missouri and Illinois. He has an “AV" rating with Martindale-Hubbell and is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He has been recognized as a member of the Nursing Home Trial Lawyers “Top 10” list by the National Trial Lawyers Association and has received several Avvo Top Attorney awards for Nursing Home Abuse and Neglect cases. David is a popular speaker who has spoken on the issues of abuse and neglect in nursing homes all over the country from large legal conferences to smaller “lunch and learn” meetings with lawyers to local church groups. David has been married to the love of his life for over thirty years and has two daughters, both of whom have successfully been “launched” into the world. In his free time David enjoys reading, outdoor activities, cooking on his Blackstone griddle and traveling the world with his bride. He regularly travels to Honduras to help improve the lives of those suffering from lack of resources and to resolve the water crisis in that country.
