Earlier this month, I presented Future-Proofing Careers: The CLR’s Impact on Education and Employability alongside Sandra E. Espinal and Keith Look at the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU)‘s 38th Annual Conference in Aurora, Colorado! This session highlighted the Cougar Climb: First-Year Experience, a program designed to promote active student engagement among first-year students at Kean University and it’s utilization of Territorium’s Comprehensive Learner Record. Territorium’s LifeJourney app offers a mobile wallet for storing digital credentials and matches students with careers that align with their verified skills. I look forward to future opportunities to share the Cougar Climb: First-Year Experience with higher education administrators and students!

We look forward to cracking the code (and some eggs) at this year's SACSCOC Annual Meeting. Our invite-only breakfast next month promises to be eggcellent! We'll be joined by Dr. Courtney Glazer, who will unscramble, without waffling, how the University of North Texas uses the E-Proficiency Profile (EPP) as its general education outcomes assessment. If you want to join, please let us know in the comments below! Let’s hash it out over coffee, eggs, and data at our exclusive breakfast event. * Note - We are currently at 40 RSVPs already out of 50! Don’t let this opportunity get cold—comment before it’s toast! ** Egg-clusive access: this breakfast is reserved just for attendees from higher ed institutions!

It was incredibly rewarding for all of us at Territorium to launch this project with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund at this year's Leadership Institute. The response from students was fantastic, and that was just the beginning! Thanks,?Aisha Brown,?for the mention in Inside Higher Ed!

Global marketing lead, digital engagement, and thought leadership...with a large cup of coffee!

An amazing shoutout for Territorium from the Thurgood Marshall College Fund in today's edition of Inside Higher Ed: ? The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) provides scholarships to students at HBCUs and, thanks to a recent tech partnership with Territorium, now offers career development and digital badging opportunities to students through the LifeJourney app. “Our strategic mission is to make sure that we are making our students career strong,” says Aisha Brown, chief financial officer and chief operating officer at TMCF. The LifeJourney app rolled out to student attendees at the Leadership Institute in September. The app allows students to complete assessments that highlight their strengths and upload their transcript or résumé. Based on this data, the tech will generate possible career paths for them using artificial intelligence, pull relevant job postings and provide digital badges. “The app is really a one-stop shop for career placement and career readiness,” Brown says. Survey feedback from initial student users found 100?percent of students enjoyed the app and saw the impact it could provide to them regardless of their year in college. TMCF leaders plan to scale offerings to all event participants for the 2025 calendar year (around 2,000 students) and later to learners across all partner institutions, around 100,000 students. The app is free to use and will be available at no cost for the student even after graduation, Brown says. ?https://lnkd.in/eW-Nc-mS
