Founded in 2008, Terrain transforms the local garden center into a celebration of nature. Our flagship location in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania was inspired by the idea of merging house and garden to create an experience for the senses, catering to our customer with a curated assortment of plants for all seasons, as well as inspired items for the home and garden. Situated in a luxurious indoor-outdoor environment, our on-site nursery is flanked by a cafe and garden terrace, providing the ideal environment to host events and workshops.
Located adjacent to select Terrain stores, Terrain Cafe offers seasonally changing brunch, lunch, and dinner menus featuring hand-selected local produce, meats, and dairy alongside a thoughtfully curated beverage program from near and far. Served in a deliberately designed environment to blur the line between indoor and outdoor spaces, each cafe’s décor is unique, providing an inspiring dining experience every time. Terrain Cafe is located in PA, CT, MD and CA.
With event venues located in Devon, PA and Glen Mills, PA, Terrain also offers a unique combination of locations and services to suit celebrations of all kinds. Our unique horticultural setting is expertly paired with farm-to-table cuisine, seasonally décorated spaces, and in-house floral and design services to create a gorgeous backdrop for any event.

Through our Giving Tuesday donation, customer round-up initiative, and donation-based events, we’re helping to?inspire + catalyze the transition of?an additional 1,000 acres of land into regenerative farmland. We recently hosted Anthropologie x Terrain winter wreath workshops, where participants crafted beautiful wreaths while learning about regenerative gardening from experts at Terrain. All proceeds benefitted our environmental philanthropy partner, Kiss The Ground. It was a rewarding experience to combine creativity with a meaningful cause, and we appreciate everyone who joined us in making a positive impact!

Celebrating the spirit of fall arts & crafts, Terrain experts introduced participants to regenerative agriculture practices. Last week our Anthropologie + Terrain Home Office teams took their second trip to FarmerJawn & Friends Foundation Fund’s West Chester location for a morning filled with volunteering and educational activities.?FarmerJawn, the largest Black-woman owned regenerative organic produce farm in the country, has played a key role in educating our community around the power of regenerative agriculture.?Thank you to our friends at Kiss The Ground for introducing us to a regenerative farm in our own backyard! We can't wait for our next outing at FarmerJawn & Friends Foundation Fund to continue to support the regenerative agriculture movement.??
