Ever wonder how TerraCycle recycles hard-to-recycle trash? Let us show you! The recycling magic happens at our Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs). The accepted waste that is sent to us is always sent to a facility in the same country where the waste originated, and it’s always recycled—we guarantee it. We are honored that we were recently selected as one of five finalists for the "Environmental Stewardship" category of the .ORG Impact Awards, from more than 1,700 applicants! The .ORG Impact Awards, an Public Interest Registry initiative, recognize the profound impact happening in communities across the globe. Although we did not win the award, it was an immense honor to be recognized as a global leader in reducing the flow of plastic waste from rivers and canals before it can reach the ocean.
