We've got some news ?? After over two years of boosting the visibility of charities up and down Aotearoa, and contributing $3m to Aotearoa's youth-focussed charities, our whanaunga over at #OneGoodKiwi are wrapping up ?? So we want to take this time to celebrate their achievements including: - 100+ youth focussed charities supported ?? - $3m in donations ?? - Thousands of young people supported ?? - A better-connected Aotearoa through the power of technology ?? We want to shout out to Jane King Naomi Reynolds Josh Sutcliffe and the One New Zealand team for all of the mahi you've done for Aotearoa's communities through OGK ???? Te Rourou will continue to be One NZ's philanthropic arm but our mahi wouldn't have been as impactful as it has been to date without the OGK team! From us to you - THANK YOU OGK ?? We're saying haere rā to One Good Kiwi and celebrating $3million to youth charities – thanks for your support! ? In October 2022, when we announced the brand change from Vodafone NZ to One NZ, we launched One Good Kiwi to underscore our commitment to Aotearoa New Zealand. Now, having donated $3 million to youth-focused charities, it’s time for us to bid farewell to One Good Kiwi on 31 March 2025, as we concentrate our charitable giving via Te Rourou, One Aotearoa Foundation. Over the past two and a half years, One Good Kiwi has supported more than 100 youth-focused charities. Each charity has received donations of $30,000 on average, and some up to $125,000. As well as financial contributions, the team at One NZ has supported many of these charities in other ways including volunteering, mentoring youth and through community events. We will continue to be there for rangatahi and charities in Aotearoa via Te Rourou, which has been operating for more than 23 years. We’re proud to have donated more than $50 million via this Foundation to support youth-focused causes.
