"Wow, what a cool Privacy Policy Generator." - nobody, ever. But if somebody were to say that, they'd probably say it in the comments after seeing this graphic. Right? Right, everyone?...

There's been a feud going on between Apple and the UK. For those not keeping up, allow us to sum it up in our own words: UK: "Hello, Apple. We demand full access to all Apple Users' data." Apple: "You mean like anyone involved in a criminal case?" UK: "Kind of, except exchange 'people involved in criminal case' with 'everyone who owns an apple product.'" Apple: *sigh "See you in court..." UK: "Jolly good, cheerio!" https://lnkd.in/ejxvPFsk

Ctrl C, Ctrl V is no way to make a Privacy Policy. The disclosures needed within a Privacy Policy depend heavily on an individual business's location, size, privacy practices, third-party tools, and who's data they're collecting. So even businesses that are close competitors will probably have very different looking Privacy Policies. Plus, you don't know where your competitor got their Privacy Policy. It could be done incorrectly for even their own business. Finally, policies must be updated frequently. So you'd have to steal their content often... and that brings copyright laws into play as well. #privacypolicy #meme #DataPrivacy

"Did I overhear you say something about having IBS? OH NO, how terrible... anyways, have you seen our bulk Toilet paper deal?" - Amazon, apparently. According to a complaint filed in U.S. District Court in Seattle, Amazon’s advertising network may be gathering consumer data without consent and then using the information to send those consumers targeted ads.
