The Demonstrator’s innovations focus on several use cases: ?? Search and rescue operations in hazardous environments ?? ??In AI4CSM project SC2 demonstrated a new generation of highly automated electric passenger #vehicles by redesigning a Mercedes Benz EQC with AI4CSM partners' developed components: ?800V SiC-based inverter, ?PPU-equipped controller platform, ?Time-of-Flight perception, ?Algorithms for cognitive diagnostics using AI, ?Prediction algorithms for energy consumption. ????????This demonstrator was successfully developed through incredible collaboration among AI4CSM partners, including leader AVL, Mercedes-Benz AG, Brno University of Technology, EDI - Institute of Electronics and Computer Science, Infineon Technologies AG, Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute HHI, Automotive-Team OTH Amberg-Weiden, SmartSol, SIA and ZF Group. ??Cynergy4MIE consortium member: Virtual Vehicle Research GmbH! ?Virtual Vehicle Research GmbH (VIF), with 300 employees, is Europe’s largest centre for virtual vehicle development, focusing on integrating simulations and hardware testing in automotive and rail. This enables efficient testing and validation of complex systems. With over 180 industry partners (OEMs, suppliers) and 80 scientific partners, Virtual Vehicle drives industry-oriented research, advancing future vehicle technologies and serving as an innovation catalyst for hardware-software development in the sector. ?In Cynergy4MIE, VIF will develop AI/ML algorithms for UAV/UGV collaboration and robotic swarms in SAR missions to quickly locate survivors in harsh, unknown environments, using specialized sensors and collaborative perception, which will be demonstrated in relevant use cases.
