关于我们
With more and more refugees displaced around the world, businesses have a critical role to play in helping refugees integrate economically in their new communities. Tent was launched in 2016 by Hamdi Ulukaya, the CEO and founder of Chobani – a multibillion dollar food company in the U.S. – to mobilize businesses across the Americas and Europe to fill this gap. Today, Tent is a network of over 400 major companies committed to helping hundreds of thousands of refugees access local labor markets by helping them become job-ready and connecting them to work. In 1888, the iconic National Geographic was founded by 33 individuals who saw an urgent need to deepen humanity’s understanding of our world around us. Today, we’re incredibly proud that our founder, Hamdi Ulukaya, has been recognized by NatGeo as an inaugural member of the “National Geographic 33” – an homage to its founders – which celebrates 33 changemakers whose imaginative ideas and unstoppable drive are making the world a better place. ?????? Recognized for his efforts through the Tent Partnership for Refugees to connect refugees with jobs, Hamdi took his own positive experience hiring refugees at Chobani and has inspired a global movement that has already galvanized 400+ major businesses to help refugees integrate into local labor markets at scale – and we’re not stopping there! See the #NatGeo33 list below, and reach out to learn how your company can join this ever-growing movement! #TentPartnership

Just ahead of International Women’s Day, we’re so proud to share that Tent’s unique suite of refugee mentorship initiatives has reached a new milestone: more than 150 companies have reached 7,500+ women across Europe and the Americas as either mentors or as refugee mentees! ?? ??♀? As part of this, our Refugee Women Mentorship Program in Europe has not only met, but far exceeded, its initial goal. With 25 leading companies pledging at launch to provide 1,250 refugee women in Europe with professional mentorship through their employees, today we’re thrilled to announce we’ve doubled that – and over 2,500 refugee women have already received individualized professional guidance! It’s undeniable, women make our workplaces and communities stronger and Tent’s mentorship programs are playing a key role in helping refugee women and their mentors to realize their full potential. Refugee women, who too often struggle to restart or advance in their careers due to the “double disadvantage” they face, are connected with a dedicated mentor who champions their career growth and provides crucial guidance on things like local job market and workplace norms, CV writing, job interviews, expanding their social and professional networks, and more. Mentors, who are employed at participating member companies, develop their leadership skills, deepen their empathy, and have an opportunity to share their professional expertise. Talk about a win-win! ?? Join us in celebrating the power of women supporting women this #IWD2025! https://lnkd.in/eS8QkBWH

Meet Maryna, who fled 72 days of occupation in Ukraine with her children and mother to start anew in Vendée, France. One of her biggest challenges? "A lack of network and language skills." Through Tent's mentorship program, she connected with Marie-Christine, a mentor at Generali who championed her potential and helped her secure a job at the company. Today, not only does she work remotely for Generali in a role that brings her pride, she’s found a true friend in France. “It was more than a professional encounter,” said Marie-Christine, “We connected on a human level. " Watch Maryna's story to see how mentorship helps create pathways to employment for refugee women. This #IWD2025, we celebrate Maryna and the thousands of women – refugee mentees and their mentors –? in our programs. When companies partner with Tent, they help open doors for talented refugee women. Is your company ready to make this difference? #MentorshipMatters The Human Safety Net https://lnkd.in/gDvB2APu

Today marks three years since Russia's invasion of Ukraine. As the conflict continues, millions of Ukrainians — the vast majority of whom are women — are seeking to? rebuild their lives in their host countries to support themselves and their families for the long-term. Yet many still struggle to find work due to common barriers such as low local language proficiency, lack of social and professional networks, and outsized childcare responsibilities.? At the Tent Partnership for Refugees, we're working with the world's largest companies through direct hiring initiatives and mentorship programs to ensure Ukrainian refugees are given a fair chance to integrate into the labor market, helping companies welcome and lift up these refugees in both the workplace and community. Today and every day, we invite even more companies to join us and hire Ukrainian refugees: https://www.tent.org/

This week, Tent Espa?a hosted two powerful events in Madrid celebrating refugee inclusion in Spain's workforce. ???? First, we hosted a CEO roundtable bringing together business leaders and Minister Elma Saiz Delgado of Ministerio de Inclusión, Seguridad Social y Migraciones to share best practices for helping refugees overcome employment barriers and strategize on public-private collaboration to advance labor market integration. We then celebrated one year since the launch of Tent Espa?a with member companies, government officials, and NGO partners gathering to share success stories and welcome new coalition members. The celebration highlighted the win-win of refugee hiring through testimonials from both businesses and refugee employees. Muchas gracias to our distinguished speakers including Minister Saiz Delgado, Grainne Ohara from UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, Alex Perez from Sanofi, Carmen Benayas Rueda from INECO, Eulalia Devesa from ISS Facility Services Espa?a, and Ahsan Saadat from Marriott International ?? In the latest of our series of job fairs co-organised with Indeed and the UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, we welcomed around 1,400 refugees to the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam earlier this week! ???? 40 employers from a variety of sectors such as hospitality, transportation, and facility services – including Tent Partnership for Refugees member companies IKEA, Kraft Heinz, Marriott International, and Vebego – met with refugee job seekers, interviewing them onsite for a wide range of roles. Since November, this means a total of nearly 5,000 refugee jobseekers have attended the job fairs we’ve organized with our partners across Paris, Berlin, London, and Amsterdam – and connected with the dozens of companies participating, eager to consider them for open roles and support them in securing employment. #HireRefugees ##vluchtelingen
