Strong partnerships help schools succeed! Our workshop allowed post secondary education leaders, Memphis-Shelby County Schools, Fayette County Public Schools (TN), Haywood County Schools-TN, Cognia and the Tennessee Department of Education to discuss how we can continue to support Tennessee's K-12 education framework.

State Board members and staff spent the morning touring Tennessee College of Applied Technology-Jackson, Stanton Extension Campus. We enjoyed hearing from facility leadership as they partner with Ford Motor Company to build a strong education-to workforce pipeline.

A group of 21 Tennessee educators convened this week for the Educator Advisory Team (EAT) working sessions to analyze and discuss each current English Language Arts Standards. The EAT is a critical step in our English Language Arts Academic Standards Review process.
