Tenfold is hosting classes on Identity Theft on Tuesday, October 8, from 6:00—7:30 p.m. or Thursday, October 10, from 10:00—11:30 a.m. via Zoom. Each year more people are having their identities stolen and used for illicit activity. Most often, thieves gain access to your payment card or financial information and use it to make purchases, open new accounts, or take out loans in your name without your consent. Surprisingly, identity thieves will target just about anyone if given the opportunity, so how do you know if you are at risk? This workshop will show you how to minimize the risk that you will become a victim of Identity Theft. Identity Theft attendees learn the methods used to steal identity and find how to prevent identity theft. This workshop is constantly updated to add the latest schemes used by identity thieves. Seamless Leadership Transition at Tenfold: Welcoming Dan Mesher as TLC Director of Programs! We are excited to announce that Daniel Mesher is stepping into the role of TLC Director of Programs at Tenfold, succeeding Jen Gehman, who has transitioned to Director of Supportive Housing. Dan brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to community and empowerment, having previously served as the Director of CHART and Outreach programs at Tenfold, and as a Life Coach Supervisor at Water Street Mission. His background in overseeing programs that support individuals experiencing homelessness, including managing services for an average of 100 clients at any time, aligns perfectly with Tenfold’s mission to provide equitable housing and financial security. We understand that leadership transitions can bring about uncertainty, but we want to reassure you that our dedication to compassionate support and advocacy remains steadfast. Dan’s expertise and passion for service will ensure a smooth continuation of our vital programs, creating a sense of stability for our clients and community. We are confident that under Dan’s leadership, TLC will continue to thrive and make a positive impact in the lives of those we serve. TLC, a service of Tenfold, is a 52-room shelter providing temporary housing and supportive services for individuals, couples, families, and veterans experiencing homelessness, empowering them to unlock a new beginning toward housing stability and self-sufficiency.
