?? New Commentary on EdSource!?? Our chief innovation officer, Andra Yeghoian, and UndauntedK12’s Jonathan Klein highlight why California needs statewide action to ensure every student learns in a safe, climate-ready school—especially after the devastating Los Angeles fires. While LAUSD is taking steps to rebuild with resilience, we can’t rely on a district-by-district approach. It’s time for statewide planning and investment to protect all students from climate disasters! ?? Read their new commentary on what California must do next: https://ow.ly/ai5150VcpGX

The California Association of Science Educators (CASE) is calling on the State Board of Education to fully include science in the California School Dashboard and accountability system. After more than a decade of waiting, it’s time to make science a priority! ? Adding science to the Dashboard signals to school leaders, parents, and communities that science is a subject worth investing in—with time, resources, and teacher training. CASE will deliver this petition at the State Board of Education meeting in March. Your voice is essential in showing that Californians demand high-quality science education for every student! ??
