"GIRLS and WOMEN can do anything, and we are proud of it!" ?? Wise words from our own Kayla Marquette!
It was so awesome to participate in helping young school girls get interested in #robotics with the help of Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance and Google for hosting this #womeninSTEM workshop for so many schools in #Oklahoma to bring in their young girls; this helped to facilitate and grow curiosity and get some hands-on experience within STEM. My favorite part was hearing where all these girls came from - some have been invested in STEM or Robotics for many years now, some this was their first exposure to something like this. I am increasingly thankful for my company Ten-Nine Technologies for all of their encouragement and support to get involved in our community and being apart of this impactful volunteering. This was a refreshing reminder that GIRLS and WOMEN can do anything, and we are proud of it!

At Ten-Nine, we’re passionate about giving back to our #Tulsa community, especially when it comes to supporting #WomenInSTEM! This weekend, chemistry techs Kayla Marquette and Brenna Maynard volunteered at the Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance Women in STEM #Robotics Workshop, where they had the opportunity to inspire and connect with young women interested in STEM fields ?? We believe it's crucial to encourage and empower kids from all backgrounds. It was truly inspiring to see so many young women excited about STEM careers. At Ten-Nine Technologies, employees receive 4 hours of paid volunteer time each year, and it’s always uplifting to see which causes and organizations resonate with them ?
