Had a fantastic time co-hosting a happy hour with NextEra Energy Investments during this year’s S4x25 event! It was great catching up with friends (looking at you Anthony Bettini!??), industry colleagues, and making new connections over good conversations. Thanks to everyone who joined us, and special thanks to Matheson Brady for cohosting with us!

Big thanks to former BBC security correspondent, author and podcast host Gordon Corera,?for joining us at our STAR retreat and for his insightful presentation on trust and geopolitics. One of the most compelling parts of the presentation centered on the legacy of Edward Snowden. At the time, the revelation that governments were watching people was groundbreaking. Fast forward to today, and that awareness has shifted into something almost universally acknowledged, and largely accepted. He emphasized that Snowden’s revelations happened at a moment in history where digital privacy was still a concept people felt they could fight for. The world has changed since then, raising important questions about how society has reacted to technological surveillance over time. A thought-provoking discussion with plenty of food for thought!?
