Last month, we shared our progress on developing compressed streaming of animated Gaussian Splatting with 80 Level. Today, we're excited to announce the completion of our 4D codec, bringing us a step closer to real-time volumetric video streaming for everyone. We've advanced beyond traditional Gaussian Splatting by developing a novel method for the efficient reconstruction and rendering of dynamic volumetric content. Our next goal is to integrate this new format into our web platform and Unreal Engine 5, enabling seamless integration of volumetric recordings into virtual spaces. Our mission is to empower both professional and individual creators to capture real-world performances in a new volumetric format that can be shared and experienced on any device with minimal bandwidth consumption.
