She has been with Temp-Con for over three years, starting as a Project Engineer, transitioning into Project Management, and now serving as an Operations Assistant. She loves watching a project evolve from initial drawings to the final product. The ability to see a project through from start to finish is admirable, and Amy exemplifies this quality. Women in Construction Spotlight??♀? Meet Lauren, a dedicated Sheetmetal Apprentice with four years of experience. Lauren's commitment is clear, from showing interest in our program through her high school career center to starting her apprenticeship in 2021. She thrives in the physically demanding world of construction—nothing phases her. Lauren runs a lawn care business outside of work and enjoys time with family. But when it's work time, she gives 110% every day. Her advice? "Don't let being a woman hold you back. We need more women in this field—we bring so much more to the table."
