Before we launched TellTail, we talked with hundreds of livestock producers, almost all of whom live in rural areas. So we decided to step in to Breast Cancer Awareness month with an emphasis on raising awareness about the unique challenges rural women face as it pertains to Breast Cancer. Those challenges include barriers to early detection due to fewer healthcare facilities and longer travel distances for mammograms. The American Cancer Society is working to address that discrepancy.
