Today kicks off U.S. Antibiotic Awareness Week! This year's theme is "Fighting Antimicrobial Resistance Takes All of Us." Antibiotics can save lives and are critical tools for treating common and serious infections, including those that can lead to sepsis. Any time antibiotics or antifungals are used, they can cause side effects and contribute to the development of antimicrobial resistance, one of the most urgent threats to the public's health. Being antibiotics aware helps patients, caregivers, families and healthcare professionals improve antibiotic prescribing and use. Learn more: https://bit.ly/489yHuO #BeAntibioticsAware

Happy Veterans Day! Telligen is proud to work with the Iowa Veterans Home and support their quality improvement efforts. Penny Cutler-Bermudez, Administrator at the Iowa Veteran’s Home, recalls working with Telligen at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. “The partnership was so valuable to us, to have that support of people who were available at a moment’s notice to help us walk through what we could do to ensure quality care for our residents – and in a time that was different than any of us had experienced before.” Read the full story: https://lnkd.in/gUwqsGWb #PartnerFeature #IowaVeteransHome #VeteransDay
