Our TECHNOFORCE? STEEL, made from 100% ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fiber, combines lightness and strength. We’re excited to add 4 new colors to our offerings. ?Rose Pink ?Coyote Brown ?Olive Green ?Sky Blue UHMWPE fiber—so light it can float on water while theoretically capable of supporting approximately 20 tons with a mere 10 mm diameter. Octa? fabric is gaining popularity in athletic apparel and outdoor gear brands as a high-performance active insulation for the past a few years. Speaking of filament, Octa? has an octopus-like cross-section with 8 projections, creating air gaps that enhance heat shielding and insulation properties in textiles. This unique fiber structure makes Octa? fabrics roughly 50% lighter than regular polyester materials of similar thickness. Last November, we launched a new staple fiber called Octair? as an extension of the Octa series. This staple fiber can be used for fiber filling as a down alternative or converted into airy sheet insulation.
