This is 1 year of plastic waste... We can't recycle our way out of this. Humans make 400,000,000 tonnes of plastic waste /year. Only 9% gets recycled. The rest ends up landfilled, incinerated, or openly littered. Companies must change their single-use, throw-away packaging design. Refuse -> reduce -> reuse -> … and only then recycle And remember: It’s only 20 companies that make 55% of all the plastic pollution. Not 8 billion people. Let’s turn off the tap and end plastic pollution.
