?? Strengthening NATO’s Flanks: A strategic dialogue on the Black Sea, Baltic Sea and High North The Ted Stevens Center for Arctic Security Studies, in partnership with the F?rsvarsh?gskolan - Swedish Defence University and New Strategy Center, recently convened a seminar in Bucharest, Romania, focused on security situations in the Black Sea, Baltic Sea, and High North regions. Through a detailed set of exchanges, we connected the strategic dots across NATO’s flanks—from the Black Sea through the Baltic and Barents Seas, across the Transatlantic Northern Flank covering the Extended Economic Zones of Norway, Iceland, Denmark, and Canada, and onward to the Beaufort, Chukchi, and Bering Seas. This seminar underscores the TSC’s mission to enhance security cooperation through education, research and analysis, and strategic engagement. Our collaboration with the SEDU provided a strong foundation for deeper cooperation on emerging security challenges and opportunities across these critical maritime domains. As the security environment evolves, joint efforts like these are essential to strengthening deterrence, resilience, and regional stability. #SecurityCooperation | #NATO | #HighNorth | #ArcticSecurity | #TedStevensCenter
