This full-time role involves hands-on work with high-pressure life support and respiratory equipment, material management, and engineering support for critical Navy systems. Key Responsibilities: ?? Advancing Global Security: International Anti-Terrorism/Anti-Piracy (IATP) Class 2501 Graduation Today, we proudly celebrate the graduation of International Anti-Terrorism / Anti-Piracy (IATP) Class 2501! Over the past five and a half weeks, the TSI instructor team—led by Don Pilcher and supported by Larry Murray, Damian Spaits, John Fischer, and Jeff Juhnke—delivered an intensive and impactful training program to nine international students from Iraq, Nigeria, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Oman, Maldives, and Ivory Coast. This course provided essential instruction on maritime law and sovereignty, risk management, counterterrorism strategies, piracy defense, cybersecurity, human rights, and more. Through expert guidance and rigorous engagement, our instructors and students strengthened critical skills that support global security efforts. Beyond the classroom, participants took part in field study visits that reinforced their training while also offering valuable cultural and operational insights: ?? Escambia County Emergency Operations Center (Pensacola, FL) – Observing emergency response coordination in action ?? Naval Aviation Museum (NAS Pensacola, FL) – Gaining historical perspective on naval aviation’s role in global security ?? Celebrating International Collaboration: EOD Prep Course Graduation Last week, the NETSAFA International Training Center (NITC) reached a proud milestone as we celebrated the graduation of 11 students from 7 nations in the EOD Prep Course! Our international cohort included service members from Korea (4), the Slovak Republic (2), Bulgaria (1), New Zealand (1), Malaysia (1), Turkey (1), and Singapore (1). Under the expert leadership of Lead Instructor Jason Davis, these professionals demonstrated outstanding teamwork and communication throughout their training. The program also featured immersive field study trips to the USS Alabama in Mobile, the National Naval Aviation Museum at NAS Pensacola, and the Air Force Armament Museum at Eglin AFB. These experiences, combined with intensive team-building exercises, strengthened trust and reinforced international defense partnerships.
