?? Welcoming George Kassis as a Techstars Web3 Mentor! ?? We’re excited to welcome George Kassis to the Techstars Web3 Accelerator as a mentor! With a decade of experience in Web3 and data, George is the Web3 Identity Lead at J.P. Morgan’s blockchain unit, Kinexys, where he has worked across digital identity, onchain privacy, tokenized assets, Web3 social, and onchain commerce. At Kinexys Labs, George has played a key role in launching initiatives that bring Web3 concepts into real-world applications. He also led Kinexys’ first global hackathon, bringing together 700+ developers and startups to explore innovations in digital identity, payments, and commerce. Beyond Kinexys, George has mentored startups and developers at hackathons and accelerator programs and served as a judge for numerous hackathons, including EthGlobal, Encode, and others. He has also built projects, including one that was a finalist at the Onchain Summer Base Buildathon. George is particularly interested in the agentic web and frequently writes about AI agents in commerce, DeFi, and other verticals. He takes a hands-on approach to mentorship, working closely with founders to challenge assumptions, refine ideas, and translate vision into execution. Effective mentorship goes beyond advice - it's about refining idea, challenging assumptions, and helping founder navigate real-world obstacles.
