?? Knowledge is Power ?? The main principle of our company is continuous development and learning. We strive to participate in other companies' projects that can introduce our specialists to modern construction methods and technologies. ?? For this reason, specialists from Technomine Engineering visited a unique project on May 29th, focusing on expanding existing railway tunnels in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Our team was invited by the Austrian construction holding, PORR. ?? The project's complexity lay in the fact that commissioned by the German railway operator Deutsche Bahn, PORR needed to widen two railway tunnels: the Fachinger Tunnel (426m) and the Kramberger Tunnel (732m). The challenge was to complete the expansion without halting passenger and freight train traffic. This meant ensuring the tunnels’ cross-sections were widened to meet modern requirements for height and width, including additional side evacuation routes and increased track spacing — all while keeping regular train operations uninterrupted. ?? Our specialists had the opportunity to observe the work being done using the unique “Tunnel in a Tunnel” technology. To maintain continuous traffic flow, PORR applied a method developed by Herrenknecht, a leader in tunneling technology and equipment. PORR’s experts shared in detail with Technomine Engineering their methods and technologies for tunnel expansion, as well as their plans for further development and improvement. ??? Our engineers will use this experience in similar projects in Ukraine. ?? Link to the article on the PORR website: https://lnkd.in/eHS_xBkv ?? ?? Black Metallurgy – One of Ukraine’s Leading Industries Due to the growing demand for high-quality iron ore in metallurgy and the occupation of certain regions, researchers are forced to seek and expand the raw material base. ?? A significant part of this is achieved through the extraction and enrichment of oxidized and low-grade iron ores, both from current mining and technogenic deposits. As these ores are weakly magnetic and require further grinding, the development of the most promising enrichment technology was essential. ??? Our company’s engineering team proposed options for implementing this at Dolynsky Mining and Processing Plant LLC in the Kirovohrad region. As part of the project preparation, a site was selected for the pilot industrial plant, along with the main technological equipment. Additionally, specialists conducted a preliminary assessment of the chosen enrichment technology and created a preliminary construction budget. ?? The value of this development lies in the fact that the construction and operation of a pilot industrial facility for the enrichment of low-grade and oxidized ores (806.4 thousand tons/year) is an intermediate step in researching this technology. This allows for practical testing, leading to the design and construction of a main enrichment plant with a capacity of 12 million tons per year. ?? To achieve this, Technomine Engineering designers carried out the following tasks: ? Collection and analysis of initial data; ? Development and assessment of ore enrichment technology options; ? Preparation of an equipment list; ? Layout of the main equipment; ? Development of the plant’s site plan; ? Description of the technological process; ? Technical and economic evaluation.

?? Efficient Fire Suppression Systems ?? As part of a collaboration, Technomine Engineering signed a contract with Ukrenergo for the development and restoration of an automatic fire suppression system at energy facilities in the Zaporizhzhia region. This project is essential for the sustainable operation of energy facilities, so our team has already begun actively implementing it. ??? The project will consist of several stages. ?? The first stage involves survey work. Our specialists will inspect the existing system to determine what needs to be updated. We will then conduct geological and geodetic surveys to help determine the optimal placement of new equipment, taking into account all soil characteristics and making precise measurements for further design. ?? With all the necessary information in hand, our designers will move to the second stage: developing the technical documentation for the new fire suppression system. The primary focus will be on integrating modern technologies, which will ensure maximum system efficiency at every stage.

?? Designing Modern Agricultural Complexes – It’s Possible ?? Agriculture is one of Ukraine's leading economic sectors, providing food for the population and raw materials for industry. ?? The development of greenhouse complexes is a promising direction in this field. However, building a basic greenhouse is one thing; creating a facility with complete infrastructure, which in the long run can save the client substantial costs, is quite another. Technomine Engineering received an order and has developed a project for a greenhouse complex covering a total area of 15,260 sq.m. in the Mukachevo district of Zakarpattia. ?? For the upcoming construction, our design team immediately advised the client to use energy-saving technologies and materials to ensure the energy efficiency of the future facility. ?? The project’s implementation will be swift, thanks to the fast assembly of the main structures. Additionally, it was decided to equip the greenhouses with essential continuous-operation engineering systems: heating, power supply, energy-saving systems considering the regional specifics, emergency power and lighting systems, water supply and drainage, ventilation, video surveillance, and security. Our engineers also considered the surrounding area and lightning protection. ?? To detail the design, the greenhouse complex developed by our company includes: - 2 greenhouse sections totaling 9,600 sq.m., with areas for seedlings and services - Sorting and packaging sections of 400 sq.m. each - Service premises of 400 sq.m. - Transformer substations - Treatment facilities - Pump stations - Boiler house with fuel storage and ash containers - Sheltered areas for CO? storage - Access roads and parking lots ?? It’s important to remember that every functioning enterprise means job creation. In the greenhouse complex designed by Technomine Engineering, 20 permanent jobs will be available, providing stable tax contributions to the state budget during wartime.

?? Building New Pathways ?? The war is reshaping the country’s logistics. With closed airspace and port attacks, the main load has shifted to highways and railways. As major enterprises relocate from frontline areas to safer cities in Western Ukraine, expanding transportation infrastructure in the Western region becomes critical. ?? Technomine Engineering, with extensive experience in building transport routes, highways, and tunnels, is involved in state-level projects. Our team of professionals is developing a road-rail connection spanning approximately 40 km in the Lviv region. ?? When an average person hears about transport construction, they imagine workers on asphalt pavers. Only specialists understand the volume of research, calculations, and engineering work done before construction begins—from gathering permits to drafting numerous plans for water supply, sewage, electrical networks, communication systems, ventilation, lighting, integrated automation, and fire protection systems. ?? As part of the feasibility study, Technomine Engineering is analyzing the investment attractiveness of the project, assessing its environmental impact, ensuring protection for nearby buildings and natural sites, and making the infrastructure accessible to people with limited mobility. ?? Once all calculations are complete, the construction of this large-scale connecting segment will bring the state: - Increased road capacity by relieving transit, local, and urban traffic - Growth in transport volumes - Improved traffic safety and environmental conditions in towns previously affected by truck traffic - The use of the connecting tunnels as dual-purpose facilities (serving as shelters for civilians) ?? Technomine Engineering plans to continue contributing to the development of Ukraine's infrastructure.

?? Reliable and Accessible Bomb Shelter ?? Night falls, the siren sounds, and a rocket attack begins. You barely reach your front door as glass and concrete debris start flying around, and the floor shakes underfoot. A nightmare? No – this is the reality for Ukrainians during wartime. Some are fortunate to live on the ground floor near a metro station, but what if your apartment is high up and you need to bring children, a dog, and a grandmother in a wheelchair down to a shelter? ?? Our company provides a solution, building reliable bomb shelters for up to 100 people, including barrier-free access for people with limited mobility. ?? If the bomb shelter project is ordered before a residential building is constructed, the protective structure can be planned directly beneath it, allowing access by stairs. If the building is already constructed, the shelter can be located at the nearest accessible point. ?? What does the shelter itself look like? It's a cylindrical structure reaching up to 16 meters deep. On each of the "underground floors," which are 3.2 meters high, there is an elevator, rooms for food and fuel storage, a medical room, a bathroom with a shower, rest areas, and sleeping accommodations for 24-36 people. Each floor has two evacuation routes, one of which includes a specialized lift for people with reduced mobility. ?? Sleeping in our bomb shelters is worry-free, as we’ve ensured both comfort and protection. ?? The shelter walls are made of reinforced concrete, capable of withstanding radiation and electromagnetic interference. The ventilation system filters out gas and dust, and backup power systems ensure light and heating remain functional during power outages. ?? The shelter’s supply of food and water is designed to last for 48 hours, though it can be increased to three days if needed. ?? The bomb shelter has the highest level of protection—A3. ?? Amid a prolonged war and constant missile threats, planning and building reliable shelters should be a priority for both businesses and local governments. Technomine Engineering has highly qualified specialists and the specialized equipment needed to bring a bomb shelter project to completion in just six months of construction.
