TSI is thrilled to be partnered with PCL, Weifield Group, and Brown and Caldwell to build this state-of-the-art PFAS Treatment Plant. TSI was selected as the System Integrator for this project. We will be providing an Allen Bradley Plant PAx system, 6 large Allen Bradley AFE VFD’s, and a large assortment of process instrumentation.
Project Milestone: PCL is thrilled to announce the groundbreaking of the Klein Facility Enhancement Project for PFAS for the SOUTH ADAMS COUNTY WATER & SANITATION DISTRICT in Commerce City, Colorado. In partnership with Brown and Caldwell, this project is set to deliver a state-of-the-art ion-exchange water treatment system that will provide a sustainable supply of high-quality drinking water that meets all state and federal regulations, including EPA regulations required to treat PFAS contamination by 2029. Construction is now underway on a new 2 MGD tertiary WWTP at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, the world’s largest Marine Corps training base, in Twentynine Palms, CA. This project serves as a significant leap forward for the base’s 21,000 customers. The new plant will replace an outdated secondary sewage treatment plan, constructed in 1952, with a sophisticated tertiary filtration system with two 1.5 MGD tanks for storing recycled water. This project will support an additional 7,000 service members during Service Level Training exercises and improve the quality of life for residents by eliminating the odor from the existing treatment pond. Updates will also decrease the base’s environmental footprint, reducing its impact on the nearby Mojave Desert and Joshua Tree National Park.
