On March 6, TECHNIA had the privilege of hosting the VILDA Annual Meeting and Summit at our Stockholm office – and what an inspiring day it was! Nearly 100 women in leadership positions came together to discuss pressing topics, share insights, listen to though-provoking keynotes and connect with peers from the Life Sciences industry. Here are a few highlights from the event: ?? Sarah Lidé (Co-founder VILDA) presented exclusive survey results from the voices of 244 VILDA members, showing that there's an impressive pool of competence, experience and ambition among Nordic women in Life Sciences. She also highlighted the importance of networking and encouraged everyone to "make five new connections today!" ?? Helena Strig?rd (Ventures Accelerated) moderated the panel discussion on "Money in the Power - Power in the Money" with Lene Gerlach (WiLD Denmark), Nora Bavey (Unconventional Ventures) and Ruth Br?nnvall (Impact Invest). They stressed the need for stronger support systems, increased funding for women-led ventures, and greater visibility in leadership roles. ?? Annelie Uvhagen, Meike Diepenbroek and Sandra Larsson from TECHNIA shared personal stories from their own experiences as female leaders in the Life Sciences sector. ?? Annie L??f (Senior Advisor and Former Leader of the Center Party), and Jan Eliasson (former Deputy Secretary-General UN), shared insightful perspectives on how diversity fuels both innovation and long-term success, in an exclusive keynote moderated by Christina ?stberg Lloyd (Chairwoman VILDA). “Together is key”. ?? TECHNIA’s post-event networking mingle was filled with energy, warmth, and valuable conversations. The activity level was high while the participants took the opportunity to meet, engage in interesting discussions, and initiate meaningful collaborations. ??
