The TechIcon, Inc. Research and Development teams enjoy developing cutting-edge web and mobile applications using the latest software development techniques. Job Description We seek an experienced full-stack developer for one of our Federal clients responsible for building web applications using Angular with experience developing Java API. This position is in Washington D.C., and requires onsite work at least two days a week. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop the front end of our applications and coordinate with the rest of the team working on many infrastructure layers. A commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and quality products is essential. Responsibilities · Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications. · Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code. · Integrate with data storage solutions. · Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. · Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues. · Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization. · Others as assigned. Skills · Proficient in frontend development using Angular and its popular libraries. · Strong knowledge of Java/Spring and experience building Java APIs. · Strong understanding of object-oriented programming. · Strong knowledge of ORM with Hibernate or Spring Data. · Familiarity with any RDBMS. · Skill for writing reusable libraries. · Familiar with various design, architectural, and concurrency patterns. · A knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code. · Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git or Mercurial. · Knowledge of containers using Docker or AWS Cloud is optional. Requirements · 3+ years of software development experience. · B.S. in Computer Science or a related field or higher.
