?? Last Thursday, March 20th, Raleigh’s tech community gathered at Flying Saucer Draught Emporium for the Tech + Startups Community Social. Hosted by Huseyin Altinisik, the event was a great success, bringing together founders, tech professionals, and curious minds for a night of thoughtful conversation and new connections. It was encouraging to see so many people sharing their work, exchanging ideas, and building ties within Raleigh’s growing startup scene. The evening highlighted what makes this city a welcoming spot for innovation and collaboration. Thank you to everyone who came out and contributed! Looking forward to keeping this community growing—stay tuned for more. #RaleighTech #StartupLife #Networking #InnovationHub #CommunityMatters

Some photos from last night’s Silicon Valley Tech + Startups Community Social. And a few observations: 1) Guest Speaker Asher Siddiqui of Sukna Ventures delivered one heck of a fireside chat, so insightful - everything from traction, exit strategy, international expansion, family offices, and much more. You had to be there. 2) The room was a mix of Founders, pre-seed all the way to previously Exited Founders, Venture Capitalists, Emerging Fund Managers raising funds, Family Office was represented, multiple fintech folks, biotech, a couple of executives, deep tech, AI of course, etc. A great mix of interesting people from “both sides of the table.” 3) People were there to learn as much as they were there to socialize. Asher engaged the founders in the room in a lively dialogue. 4) I announced that we will be organizing a Startup Ecosystem Conference in Silicon Valley this Fall - that announcement was very well received. 5) Everyone asked “When’s the next one?” - April, my friends. We’re so proud to engage in Silicon Valley. I can't thank Arjun Dev Arora enough for connecting me with Asher, what a great night! Thanks everyone and see you again soon. #bayarea #venturecapital #techstartups

A few more live shots of Tuesday's Tech + Startups Community DC meetup. So many people, so much energy and so many meaningful startup connections made. From investors to founders to tech experts, people solved problems, got ideas and thought deep thoughts about starting up a new venture. It was awesome to be a part of it!

??? GM National Capital Region! We finally got a break between the crazy startup & tech weeks. The next two weeks are shaping up to be just as wild as the last two, but this week, we can catch our breath. That doesn't mean you'll be bored - there's always something to learn and enjoy. But at least you won't have to choose between five events on the same day. Maybe three, but not five. ?? But first,?let's look at what happened last week. Here are some of my favorites:? * Founder Institute event was great and this time I was on the other side of the audience, sharing the panel with Max Kryzhanovskiy, Jonathan Chashper (MBA, B.Sc.), ??Guc Ozenci, and Wa'il Ashshowwaf * NoVA Hackers keeps growing in size and the quality of presentations. BTW, their next one is coming 4/14: https://lnkd.in/eS4ZgVr6? * SATELLITE Conference & Exhibition ?isn’t exactly my field - lots of talk about antennas and bands - but I still found a few interesting companies working on space debris collision prediction, laser communications, and augmented reality. * DC Tech + Startups Community Social was fantastic! I really enjoyed reconnecting with friends and had a great time. * Women in Tech by STATION DC was another awesome event. I had a great time discussing startup and tech life with the attendees. Even though this week is relatively light, you can still expect some interesting events: * Data Visualization DC hosts an intriguing event this Tuesday in Excella, and I hope to be there: https://lnkd.in/eKqCCsmp * Capitol Creators and Champions always brings great vibes, and I’ve always found their events inspiring. Their next one is this Wednesday: https://lnkd.in/eeA5hBv9 * Dulles Code and Coffee this Saturday is the largest Code & Coffee event in the DMV - check it out: https://lnkd.in/eYq_yZ4Y Looking forward to another exciting week of innovation in the National Capital Region!

Thought I’d share this photo from last night’s Miami Tech + Startups Community Social and a few observations: 1) Guest Speaker Tempel Ransdell took us deep into the world of Fuel Venture Capital. He shared not just how to raise but how to successfully maintain that relationship with VCs after the raise, KPIs, what Fuel brings to the table for portfolio companies, insights into the Miami Startup Ecosystem and so much more. 2) Of the 80 attendees, 50% were Startup Founders, 10% were Investors and 40% Developers and Tech Leaders 3) We welcomed visitors from the Netherlands ????, Argentina ????, Germany ????, Bolivia ????, and the Dominican Republic. ???? 4) Of the investors in the room, I had a chance to chat with a Corporate VC, an emerging fund manager, and Angel Investors. 5) The founders I connected with are working on several projects in Robotics, Fintech, AI, SaaS, Consumer, and Health. 6) During the Fireside Chat, I mentioned that I’m flying out to the Bay Area today for our Founders & Investors event in Menlo Park this Thurs featuring special guest Asher Siddiqui of Sukna Ventures. You could feel the excitement in the room. Several people mentioned their own experiences visiting the Bay Area and the value of connect with / learning from our friends in Silicon Valley. Thank you Miami. So proud of what we’re building here. See you again soon ?? #miamitech #venturecapital #techstartups
