The Psalms still echo today as among the most beautiful religious poetry in history. It was inspired, then, that Jon Erwin and the Wonder Project team cast a broadway actor and musician, Michael Iskander, as the shepherd boy turned ruler in their Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios show “House of David.” And they released an album to accompany the show that is one of the best I’ve ever listened to. U2 even allowed For King and Country to cover their closing song “40” (which is a version of Psalm 40) for the album. Check it out. My family has had in on repeat the last two weeks.
