    Last week, we had the honor of hosting the Seattle Workforce Planning Leaders Dinner, which brought together leaders from Finance and Talent. The goal was to bridge the gap between these two teams, foster open dialogue, and allow leaders from both sides of the aisle to learn from each other's experiences. Finance <> Talent alignment is the best path to scaling efficiently. It is even a key theme of our blog post this week (link in comments) At the dinner, 12 leaders shared their stories, struggles, and ideas about improving headcount planning, breaking communication siloes, and building partnerships that work. We had a diverse group of attendees from Chelsea Cohen previously at Form Energy and Fullstory. Salehah Hassan from Grammarly, Brad Moodie from OfferUp, Annie Philipsen and Jennie Stearns from IonQ, Lilli Vesala from Helion, and Samantha Walior, CPA from Vercel. Thanks to our anchor guests, Ali Yousaf (Talent leader at Helion) and Josh Rappoport (finance leader at Acumatica), who led the discussion on topics like 'holding teams accountable to budget,' the need for approvals and visibility to ensure that all teams (HR, Talent, Finance, and Hiring Managers) speak the same language and trust the data.
