WOW. I am so proud of our students who just completed our 3-week Professional English workshop series at Immigo. We ran an invite-only pilot with these incredible professionals from LATAM—tech founders, software engineers, product managers, marketing managers, sales professionals, customer success experts, and more. We covered: - How to promote yourself - How to talk about your projects and professional experiences - How to communicate your POV clearly and concisely - How to navigate difficult situations - How to negotiate and set expectations - How to use informal vs. formal language in different work contexts …all in English. This series was specifically designed to help our students build their own intuition and muscle memory—so there is no need to translate from Spanish to English in their minds awkwardly. If I had told my 17-year old self, who struggled to even order a slice of pizza in English, that I'd be building Immigo with my brother Ryan Yejun Jeon, I would not have believed it.
