Beyond lucky to have Carol at Aldrich Boarding Care Home. ???? See below.
I shared last week that I was so excited for DOMA to acquire Aldrich Care Home in Uptown Mpls. This acquisition is exciting on so many levels but one of the greatest joys is the ability to continue working with some amazing people. This women ????right here is at the top of that list. Carol been running the show (and I really mean running the show) for 24 years this week. 24 years of serving Minneapolis by supporting women that would be at risk of homelessness without her. She prepares 3 meals a day for 25 women and staff, is constantly telling the younger generation how stupid social media is, fixes all the things including the roof (Ok Carol, seriously get down from there), pounds Diet Cokes and in her loving and straightforward way teaches the residents not to make dumb decisions. She’s got grit, a “cancelled” personality, a “get sh*t done” attitude all on a foundation that is built on love for the women that live at Aldrich. We are continually amazed by her!
