What does it take to plan a 3,000-mile ultra relay that’s never been done before? Thousands of hours. Hundreds of Zoom calls (because yes, we’re fully remote). A full cross-country route recon. Dozens of shirt design drafts, because it has to be perfect. Interviews with runners from across the nation to find THE team. Trips to Arkansas to build the kind of in-person trust you need when you're passing a flag across the country. And a healthy dose of stress and anxiety - because when you’re doing something for the first time, there's no playbook. The photos here? These are from the actual route. The one our runners will take in just five weeks. This is the path. This is the mission. This is the Old Glory Ultra Relay.

  • Today, on Vietnam War Veterans Day, we honor those who served in the Vietnam War - like Vance Hewuse. In a powerful interview, Vietnam Veteran Vance Hewuse and Harold Hoang, an Air Force Veteran who escaped the war, share how their unlikely friendship has become a source of healing and strength. Watch their moving conversation about war, resilience, and the power of human connection: https://bit.ly/3DZjm5q

  • "Stop saying, ‘I can’t do that because I’m old.’ I’m not letting age define me. I’m defining age." At 55, retired Army Ranger Cole DeRosa is proof that strength, resilience, and purpose don’t fade with time. As a three-time age group Spartan Racing world champion, he’s pushing limits, training hard, and preparing to run 3,000+ miles in the Old Glory Ultra Relay. Check out his inspiring story. ?? https://bit.ly/43pmcLn

  • "3rd year running in memory of my dad. My first time was in 2023, 8 months after losing him. I didn't learn about Team RWB until after losing him. He would've been proud of me wearing the Eagle. He was a Vietnam Army Veteran." We received this beautiful message in our inbox over the weekend. This is why Team RWB was founded - to connect the military community through fitness and give every Veteran and family member a place to belong and share in sweat equity. Julie, we are proud of you!

  • “Uncommon valor was a common virtue.” —Admiral Chester Nimitz The Medal of Honor is not about the medal. It’s about the sacrifice, the grit, and the relentless will to protect others. On National Medal of Honor Day, we honor those who have etched their names into history through acts of selfless courage. Their stories fuel our mission to build a community rooted in service and resilience.

  • All week long, Eagles from across the nation have been attending special screenings of "Warfare" thanks to A24. It’s a visceral boots-on-the-ground story of modern warfare, told like never before: in real time and based on the memory of the people who lived it. Last night, Tampa Eagles and Team RWB staff were able to meet the writer and director, Ray Mendoza, along with cast members and give them each our signature red shirts. They did a phenomenal job with the film. 10 out of 10 Eagles give it 2 ?? ?? up. Be sure to see it when it hits theaters 11 APR 25. ?? : Dan, Samantha, Ben, Ray Mendoza, Mike "Gravy," Michael Gandolfini, D'Pharoah Woon-A-Tai, Bryana, Kit Connor, and Will Poulter

Team Red, White & Blue was graciously invited to Washington DC by the Elizabeth Dole Foundation and Face The Fight coalition to help honor the change in leadership between USAA CEOs Wayne Peacock and Juan Andrade. Grateful for the partnership and collaboration in the Veteran and caregiver communities. It was energizing to be around stellar organizations and leaders spending life energy to keep putting good in the world. Also, great to see friends/colleagues who don’t get to be together in person enough. ??????????

  • When Army Veteran Rob Cordray lost friends to suicide, he knew it was time to step up and lead. "I was just motivated to do something, and I remembered RWB and the mission it stands for," Cordray shares. So, he stepped up to serve again. Now, as Omaha Chapter Captain, he's helping forge America's leading health and wellness community for veterans right in the heartland. From monthly boxing sessions at Victory Boxing Club to SCUBA seminars and the 50 Mile March, Team RWB Omaha is proving that Veterans are unstoppable when they come together. https://bit.ly/4bFWZOS
