SCIENCE! ???? Last week Team b’ers travelled to Chicago to visit Argonne National Laboratory for client meetings. They received tours of the Lab’s Advanced Photon Source and saw Aurora, the super computer. ?? Fun fact - It takes Aurora 1 second to solve a math problem that would take 40 years if all the people on Earth each did one calculation every 10 seconds. #Teamb #TravelingTumbler #Science

As we honor our nation’s veterans today, we wanted to share helpful resources for our heroes transitioning from active duty to civilian life. –– Boot Campaign: Providing customized, precision care to veterans and military families since 2009, the Boot Campaign’s mission is to unite Americans to honor and restore the lives of veterans and their families. #LaceUpAMERICA K9s For Warriors: K9s pairs veterans suffering from PTSD and other mental health issues with a service dog. Many of these dogs come from high-kill shelters and get a second chance at a meaningful life by becoming trained as a service animal. Fisher House Foundation: With a network of 100 houses, the Fisher House organization provides free and comfortable accommodations to military members and their loved ones who are receiving medical care at VA facilities far from their homes. Wounded Warrior Project: The Wounded Warrior Project offers a wide variety of mental health programs, tailored to an individual’s unique journey. They have helped thousands of veterans overcome mental health conditions, including PTSD, military sexual trauma (MST), traumatic brain injury (TBI), and more. Veterans Suicide Prevention Hotline: Call 988 or text 838255 anytime day or night if you’re a Veteran in crisis or concerned about one. This service is private, free, and available 24/7.
