关于我们
Teachstone? was founded in 2008 to deliver the Classroom Assessment Scoring System? (CLASS?) nationwide and around the globe. Developed through years of research, the CLASS observation tool measures the interactions between teachers and children, which have been shown to drive learning and lifelong achievement. Teachstone helps organizations conduct classroom observations and provide professional development so that teachers improve and children learn more. Our online subscription service, myTeachstone, simplifies CLASS implementation by combining observation data with a robust library of CLASS resources and professional development. We also offer research-based, intensive coaching programs.

New on the blog: According to the U.S. Department of the Treasury, annual turnover rates in the childcare sector can exceed 30%. But this isn’t just a statistic – it’s a reality that disrupts learning for children, overburdens remaining staff, and leaves administrators scrambling to onboard new hires while trying to keep quality on track. Much of this challenge stems from educators feeling underprepared for the diverse needs of a learning setting. Most educators don’t always have access to the time and resources needed to sharpen skills and build confidence. We know that CLASS? Connect is solving for this. Many of us had the day off to celebrate and honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s life and legacy. As we head back into our offices, schools, and Zoom meeting spaces, it is helpful to reflect on his powerful words that remind us that "[l]ife's most persistent and urgent question is 'what are you doing for others.'" By now you've probably made your New Year's Resolutions...you may have even broken them already! But it's never too late to pause and reflect on how you can show up for those in your community and look for ways to connect the work you do every day to the greater good. At Teachstone, we believe that starts with our interactions. We are committed to bringing the power of positive, life-changing interactions to every child and educator whom our work impacts and eliminating obstacles that may be a barrier to that. As we head back into the week tomorrow, we are thinking about these five quotes from Dr. King. Which one resonates with you?
