Last semester, TeachFront pitched alongside other student startups for a chance to participate in the Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science and Management Startup Studio Program. Startup Studio grants students the time and resources needed to focus on starting their own businesses while earning capstone credit. We are happy to announce that we were selected and have hit the ground running this semester. Stay tuned for updates on our progress and accomplishments!

TeachFront is a learning management system (LMS) that focuses on the idea of standards-based grading, also known as mastery grading. By providing a number of features that facilitate student mastery and enable teachers to define their own unique goals for the classroom, including resubmissions and the ability to define and scale a set of standards, TeachFront looks to revolutionize educational assessment.

Earlier this month, TeachFront made its public debut at University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s quick pitch competition hosted by the Nebraska Center for Entrepreneurship! Huge shoutout to our product manager, Lena Lankas, for representing us so well. Not only were we lucky enough to walk away with some prize money, but we also received invaluable feedback from our judges panel. We cannot thank the College of Business enough for providing students with this unique opportunity. We are excited to see what the future holds for TeachFront as we expand into more classrooms this spring and prepare to compete at The New Venture Competition!
