After careful consideration, we're sad to announce that we have decided to pause TransportationCamp DC this coming January. For years, we’ve enjoyed hosting the event and bringing together transportation leaders and advocates to share ideas, shape the future of mobility, and tackle pressing challenges like emissions reduction and street safety. This was a difficult decision, and we know this news may be disappointing. We're hopeful this is an opportunity for us to reimagine how we can sustain the “unconference” in Washington, DC going forward. On Saturday, October 26, 2024, we held our tenth annual TransportationCamp NYC at New York University's 370 Jay Street in Downtown Brooklyn. With 229 attendees and 35 sessions, the day was a huge success! Thank you to all who attended this year and to the amazing volunteer team led by ITE at NYU Tandon School of Engineering. On Saturday, October 26, NYU Tandon School of Engineering’s hosted TransportationCamp NYC 2024, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Nearly 230 attendees joined to discuss all things transportation and connect with professionals, students, and enthusiasts alike. As always, TransportationCamp is dependent on its student volunteers, both for the planning that starts months prior and for the many day of tasks that arise. Thank you to each and every one of the 228 of you who showed up to our 10th TransportationCamp NYC on Saturday. Without you and your ideas, we couldn't have made it happen. Whether you're a student, just getting your foot in the door, or an experienced professional ready to mentor the next generation, I hope you were able to make new connections, share knowledge, catch up with old friends, or at least have some fun. Connections made through Camp are how I started my career, and every year I'm sure at least someone gets that same magic too. See you all again next fall, or sooner in another Camp in a nearby city!
