Following your initial contact with someone who was then connected with immediate support, it can be helpful to follow-up with them to see how they’re doing. The follow-up step is a great time to check in with them to see if there is additional support you can offer. Studies have also shown that brief, low-cost intervention, and supportive, ongoing contact may be an important part of suicide prevention, especially for those who have been recently discharged from hospitals or care services. Find out why this can save a life at BeThe1To.com. If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text the Lifeline at 988. #BeThe1To #988
