Get to know the TCFHR board! Ande Banks was appointed to city manager for the City of Harrisonburg in October 2022, and subsequently deputy city manager in January 2017. Prior to being employed by the City of Harrisonburg, Ande served as the district representative for Virginia’s Sixth District Congressman, Bob Goodlatte. He earned his bachelors degree at Eastern Mennonite University, masters degree at James Madison University, and other graduate certificates and programs at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State and the University of Virginia. Ande and his wife, Jennifer of 23 years, have two children, Brigid, 20, and Al, 16. He is a life-long resident of this community!

We are honored to be one of the recipients of Lantz Construction Company's three pointer charitable campaign! This donation will help promote childhood literacy through Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. The community's support of this program is incredible, and we are so appreciative! We had a blast at the JMU women's basketball game last Saturday! We got to hear from so many children currently in our program, and we have had close to 10 registrations since the event!We will be back on February 28th to accept a check from Lantz Construction Company to support Dolly Parton's Imagination Library- we are so grateful for this community's support of this program!
