Homes are the cornerstone of a thriving & just society. Last night, we celebrated the impact Century Villages at Cabrillo had in 2023. The Villages is a 27-acre campus in #LongBeach that provides affordable housing to break the cycle of #homelessness. In 2023, TCC Family Health provided care to 2,156 adults & 686 children at the Villages. Stable housing, supportive services, & access to good healthcare can create promising #futures. Thank you to our CEO Dr. Nicholas & clinic manager Karen for their support which empowers me as I strive to give hope to those experiencing homelessness.

The Children’s Clinic, Serving Children & Their Families (TCC) believes that the first step in quality, patient-centered care is the range of personal, social, economic, and environmental that influence health status. TCC’s to the causes of health inequities and health puts the goal of health equity at the core of TCC’s. TCC is dedicated to addressing a range of social determinants, health, and well-being. Founded in 1939 by local physicians and community leaders, TCC is an independent, 501(c)(3), licensed Federally Qualified Community Health Center with fourteen sites and two mobile clinics dedicated to providing comprehensive high quality health care and health promotion to medically, low income, and high-risk populations of all ages.

With the team at The Children's Clinic, "Serving Children and Their Families" new site on Anaheim Street in the CambodiaTown section of Long Beach. This beautiful site will offer medical, dental, behavioral health and supportive services AND the site has 3 floors of low income housing above the clinic. Clearly an idea whose time has come!
