    With election season heating up, it's important to pause and potentially reassess your PR strategy, particularly your earned media efforts related to non-political news. Start by considering your topic and timing and being selective about which reporters you pitch. For example, consumer product launches are probably not a great idea this Fall, but what about pertinent health care, education, or feel-good community stories?
