It was hard, but I finally made it happen!! For a while I’ve wanted to customize my stream deck, but could never understand why. I could customize the buttons, I even thought to wrap the cord in colored yarn, but it all felt like failed attempts to compensate for what was missing. I decided to start making vinyl stickers on my own and thought, wait, I can laminate this by hand? But of course I could. How many packaging comps have I made by hand, without error and cut precisely by hand? I’ve done it before, so let’s give it another shot. No one was selling steam deck covers. Until finally the MK2 came out. Good for them, but what about my original 15 button device? I had to take matters into my own hands. Now, I’m someone who embraces trial and error. I’ve had to throw out countless copies because it would ripple while I applied the laminate on the little desk space I had. Until finally I had a whole stack ready to sell. Through tragic mis-cuts in my cricut, it wasn’t hard to keep going because I wanted this to come alive, and not just for myself. Don’t give up. ??

My parents, especially my father, always wanted me to push the boundaries of my abilities and everything that made me happy. So growing up, I was the one given the only exception to the "don't draw on your walls" rule. If I could make something serious, I would paint it! In memory of my dad, who passed almost one full year ago, I should finish painting across this entire windowsill.
