Taylor Rehab is hiring! We are looking for a full time Physical Therapy aide to join our staff in Mooresville, NC! We have had many previous rehab aides move on to physical therapy and physician assistant graduate level programs. This position can serve as a means of attaining many of the patient care hours needed to apply to these programs. Our caseload is a diverse outpatient, primarily orthopedic, population. We have therapists who treat TMD, women’s health, vestibular issues, post-ops, direct access, sports injuries, spine pain, headaches, and more! George got a prescription from his doctor to rent the "Shoulder pacemaker." He brought it to therapy and his therapist, Samantha, had an information session with the medical device team to implement during treatment and at home. This device is a motion-activated stimulator that allows a patient to move with assistance and feedback from electrical stimulation. This device activates specific muscles of interest to help improve the quality and form of movement. George is re-learning how to strengthen the correct muscle groups rather than compensating with other groups.
