Such and exciting project to be apart of!
Taylor is proud to share one of our most recent works in Las Vegas. The Ice Age Fossil State Park project is the State of Nevada’s newest State Park, and it is located just 30 min. from Downtown Las Vegas. This project consisted of constructing a new Picnic Pavilion, 7 new shade structures, over 1 mile of manicured trails, a new overflow parking lot, and the most iconic feature of the park, the “Monumental Mammoth” display at the park entry. Taylor International is honored to have been selected to complete this park and help to erect the Monumental Mammoth. The Monumental Mammoth has a direct link to Taylor International.?The Monumental Mammoth was conceived and constructed in conjunction with a local Girl Scout Troop.?The Troop assisted in the design of the sculpture, raising funds for its construction, and collected the metal elements that make up the Mammoth at Tule Springs.?The Troop then worked with the artist to create the sculpture itself and participated with the Friends of Tule Springs to see that the Mammoth will stand tall over the entrance of park.?Taylor International’s direct connection to the Girl Scout Troop consists of the fact that some of the Troop members are the children of Taylor personnel, and Taylor assisted in sponsoring the fundraising efforts and ultimately in the construction and display of the Mammoth. #lasvegas #construction #contractor #Iceage #museum #exhibit #Prehistoric #familyfun #statepark #art #sculpture #ownersrepresentative #constructionmanagement #designbuild #budgetdevelopment #masterscheduling #bidpreparation
