Partners Sean Murray and Mac Mahony recently settled a work injury case in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin for $2,800,000.00. The case was brought on behalf of the Estate of a 24-year-old man who was working as a laborer at a multi-level construction project. Our client fell from a four-story wall opening while operating an ATV as part of his work duties at the project. Our client later died from his injuries the same day. Mac and Sean argued that the construction project’s safety plan, policies, and training were deficient, and, had appropriate policies been enacted, this incident would have been prevented.

Partner Gerald Bekkerman and Associate Cameron Tober recently secured a $3.4 million-dollar settlement on behalf of an HVAC installer who was electrocuted and fell from a step ladder while installing furnace piping on a jobsite. The 59-year-old client sustained various shoulder and spinal injuries necessitating surgery. TPMB brought suit against the project’s owner, general contractor, and electrical subcontractor alleging they failed to warn, and left dangerous and uncapped live wires dangling in the Plaintiff’s workspace.
